About The Position

Brooke Charter Schools is hiring Associate Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. The Associate Teacher Program is a year-long teacher preparation program designed to help early educators develop the skills to become experienced educators. The program supports Brooke’s goal of diversifying the educator workforce and its commitment to anti-racist education. The program includes one-to-one mentoring, with regular observations, coaching conversations, targeted feedback, and monthly evaluations from an experienced teacher leader. Associates also participate in more than 300 hours of weekly intensive professional development on topics such as anti-racist classroom management, standards-based lesson planning, and centering student voice. Using a gradual release teaching model, Associate Teachers practice skills from professional development and take on increasing teaching responsibilities. They teach full days in their mentor’s classroom and may teach across their K–8 or 9–12 campus. Associates also cover for absent classroom teachers and teach across different grade levels and classrooms. The role is in person, with work beginning July 22, 2026.
