About The Position

BCA is a FINRA/SIPC member firm and focuses on sellside M&A advisory services for middle-market clients with enterprise values between $25 million and $500 million. BCA also has global reach through the BDO International network, a Top 10 global M&A middle-market advisor by total deal volume, operating in approximately 100 countries with over 2,000 investment banking professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution, required; focus in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant investment banking, private equity or related financial services experience, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and research tools such as S&P CapitalIQ, FactSet, Bloomberg, and Intralinks, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior analytical and research skills
  • Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
  • Ability to travel, as necessary

  • Master of Business Administration, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports the execution and the origination of M&A transactions
  • Oversees the development of financial models, including DCF, accretion/dilution, LBO, comparable trading, and transaction analyses
  • Analyzes companies and industries and works directly with client management teams
  • Prepares pitch books, offering memoranda and management presentations
  • Serves as key point of contact for client’s management team as well as third party providers
  • Structures and manages deal marketing process
  • Manages several projects concurrently and works effectively both as an individual and as a leader of a team, including managing analysts
  • Participates in the recruitment, development, and training of junior bankers (analysts, summer analysts/associates, incoming classes)
  • Develops internal BDO relationships as well as external relationships through deal execution and marketing
  • Other duties as required
