About The Position

The Associate Talent Manager supports the execution of talent acquisition, candidate and hiring manager experience, employer brand, talent pipelines, and new-hire orientation and onboarding. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented, and socially-driven person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building authentic connections and driving recruiting excellence. This person will execute recruiting initiatives, manage candidate relationships, drive employment branding, assist in facilitating new hire orientation, and support special projects. In addition, this person will strengthen the candidate and hiring manager experiences while showcasing Orveon as a great place to work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive talent acquisition, talent management, or related People & Culture experience.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting talent in a fast-paced and changing organization.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, and cross-functional People & Culture partners.
  • Experience delivering hiring manager training, interview guidance, talent assessment tools, and selection frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of direct sourcing, structured interviewing and selection, talent analytics, recruiting technology, vendor management, and employment practices.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate organizational priorities into practical talent strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing needs, adapt quickly, and move with urgency from strategy to execution.
  • Strong communication, judgment, discretion, problem-solving skills, and commitment to inclusive talent practices.
  • A highly collaborative and hands-on leadership style with a demonstrated commitment to responsiveness, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting including candidate outreach, communication, and nurturing throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct background checks and employment verification for new hires.
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System, documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Assist with, and manage, job postings, job description updates, and administrative recruiting tasks.
  • Gather candidate feedback and help identify process improvements or friction points.
  • Lead kickoff sessions and clarify role requirements and expectations with hiring managers.
  • Maintain regular communication cadence with hiring managers and stakeholders on pipeline progress, candidate status, and timeline adjustments.
  • Maintain clear offer workflows and remove process bottlenecks, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure offer development and approval processes are clear, competitive, timely, and aligned with internal and external equity.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure role clarity, onboarding preparation, and stakeholder introductions.
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation and connect employees to Orveon’s business, values, and culture.
  • Manage new-hire technology and equipment request process, partnering with IT and People & Culture.
  • Partner with the Talent Leader to develop and execute an authentic employment branding strategy.
  • Lead Orveon’s Instagram and social media presence to showcase company culture, IMPACT values, and career opportunities.
  • Create, curate, and manage employee-generated content and company stories that reflect Orveon’s culture.
  • Develop campaigns to increase candidate awareness, application rates, and employer brand presence.
  • Equip hiring managers with effective tools and resources for role definition, interviewing, assessment, candidate evaluation, and selection.
  • Implement talent assessment practices that improve hiring quality, fairness, speed, and accountability.
  • Maintain service-level agreements for hiring managers, recruiters, and other stakeholders and regularly report on performance against those commitments.
  • Escalate process breakdowns, communication gaps, and friction points quickly for resolution.
  • Ensure hiring speed and quality, pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, candidate and manager experience, offer acceptance, and onboarding outcomes.
  • Provide leaders and People & Culture partners with clear, actionable insights regarding pipelines, market conditions, hiring risks, and process performance.
  • Update job descriptions, interview materials, offer letters, and recruiting communications on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist with documentation, standardization, and simplification of recruiting and onboarding workflows.
  • Test and implement process improvements in recruiting, onboarding, or talent operations.
  • Contribute to data analysis and insights that inform talent decisions and improvements.
  • Support development and implementation of internship program.
