Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator OR 5+ years in an IT Support Technician or Service Desk role, with responsibilities in endpoint management and hardware/software support
  • Displayed competency in diagnosing and resolving hardware & software issues across PCs, printers, and peripherals
  • Experience supporting audio/video setups and conference room technology
  • Ability to provide after-hours support based on rotation schedule & respond to urgent incidents outside normal business hours
  • Exposure to project coordination, including scheduling, documentation, and cross-team collaboration
  • Strong organizational & documentation skills to support IT asset lifecycle management and maintain accurate inventory
  • Working knowledge/familiarity of the following: Windows OS (10/11) deployment, troubleshooting, and patch management Microsoft Intune and SCCM for device management and application deployment Azure AD/Entra administration for identity and access management ITSM platforms (e.g., Cherwell, Jira, ServiceNow) for ticketing and documentation Active Directory, networking basics (DNS, DHCP), and remote communication protocols Applying/verifying Windows security updates and patches in enterprise environments
  • Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
  • Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Service Desk & ITSM : Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests using ITSM ticketing system. Diagnose and repair IT hardware issues, including PCs, printers, and peripherals. Document solutions and maintain accurate records in the ITSM system. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or appropriate resource when necessary.
  • Deployment & Onboarding/Offboarding : Build, image, and configure Windows PCs for new hires. Ensure timely delivery of all equipment and required access. Assist with software installations and account setups. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to collect and process equipment from separated employees
  • Endpoint & Cloud Management (Azure / Intune / SCCM) : Administer device identity and access via Azure AD/Entra; enforce security/compliance baselines. Use Microsoft Intune and SCCM (co-management) to deploy applications, policies, updates, and remediations. Monitor and maintain endpoint health and compliance. Apply and verify Windows OS patches and security updates across all managed devices. Ensure compliance with AAA security standards and vulnerability remediation timelines.
  • Project Management : Understand project scope, budget, and timelines; collaborate with IT Manager, Infrastructure, Security, and Project teams. Create project requirements and documentation; institute CAB procedures for changes and coordinate releases into production. Schedule and conduct meetings to communicate expectations, deliverables, and functionality changes. Monitor projects regularly to evaluate progress, quality, and risks; escalate issues that may derail timelines.
  • IT Asset Management : Track and maintain IT asset inventory. Ensure lifecycle management of PCs and recommend refresh strategies. Maintain compliance with AAA standards for asset tracking.
  • Audio/Video & Conference Room Support : Set up and troubleshoot A/V equipment for meetings and events. Ensure conference rooms are equipped and functioning properly.
