About The Position

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Associate SW Engineer II in Lake Forest, CA. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Technical Degree.
• Minimum of one year of software development engineering experience.
• Skilled in major programming languages such as C#, java, and python.
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Capability to write and optimize SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as ASP.net or similar.
• Experience with integrated development environments, test automation, and continuous development/continuous integration.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Under management direction, review business requirements to draft software design and review with engineering team for approval.
• Break down work items into tasks and provide development estimates.
• Implement and unit test software functions in accordance with DSE standards.
• Collaborate with other developers and QA team to ensure proper test coverage, resolve issues as needed to deliver high quality software systems.
• Regularly communicate task status to team members and identify risk areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
