About The Position

This role involves assisting in the procurement and subcontract process, including sourcing, evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders. The position supports the management of supplier relationships, conducts market research, and maintains procurement records. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure timely delivery and drive supply chain efficiencies. The role also includes standardizing RFP templates, participating in internal and supplier meetings, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Policy / Government Contracts or a related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Responsibilities

Assist in the procurement/subcontract process, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
Support the management of supplier relationships, including communication, performance evaluation, and issue resolution.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
Help maintain accurate procurement/subcontract records and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and to drive supply chain best practices and efficiencies.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to procurement activities.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement/subcontract efficiency and effectiveness.
Standardizing and modernizing RFP templates and subcontract document packages for consistency and compliance.
Participate in internal meetings, supplier discussions, and government compliance reviews as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supply chain teams.
