About The Position

This role assists in the procurement and subcontract process, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders. It involves managing supplier relationships, conducting market research, and maintaining procurement records. The position also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and drive supply chain best practices. Additionally, the role supports process improvement initiatives, standardizes RFP templates, and participates in internal meetings and compliance reviews.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Policy / Government Contracts or a related field.
Completed Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Assist in the procurement/subcontract process, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
Support the management of supplier relationships, including communication, performance evaluation, and issue resolution.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
Help maintain accurate procurement/subcontract records and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and to drive supply chain best practices and efficiencies.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to procurement activities.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement/subcontract efficiency and effectiveness.
Standardize and modernize RFP templates and subcontract document packages for consistency and compliance.
Participate in internal meetings, supplier discussions, and government compliance reviews as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supply chain teams.
