About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst to join their dynamic team in Tukwila, WA. This role involves applying change and planning decisions to achieve optimal solutions, utilizing Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies for coordination, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. The analyst will incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan, manage part number attributes, ensure correct implementation of engineering BOMs in the material planning system, and handle order releases and maintenance. Responsibilities also include documenting and resolving order delinquencies, reporting schedule adherence issues, applying solutions to inventory plans, analyzing and disposing of excess and obsolete inventories, creating product and service schedules, and supporting process improvements. The role operates under general supervision.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting deliverables for both internal/external customers across multiple disciplines
  • 1 year of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system
  • 1+ year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
  • Coordinates part number attributes.
  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
  • Releases and maintains orders.
  • Documents and resolve order delinquencies.
  • Reports schedule adherence issues.
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
  • Creates schedules for products and services.
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements.
