About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. This role applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions, utilizing Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination within the supply chain. The analyst will coordinate with various internal departments and external suppliers and customers, incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan, and coordinate part number attributes. A key responsibility includes verifying the correct implementation of released engineering BOMs in the material planning system, releasing and maintaining orders, documenting and resolving order delinquencies, and reporting schedule adherence issues. The role also involves applying developed solutions to inventory plans, analyzing and dispositioning excess and obsolete inventories, creating schedules for products and services, and coordinating and supporting process improvements. The position works under general supervision.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: ERP, SAP
  • 1+ years of experience working on SAP MRP

  • Bachelors’ degree or higher
  • Experience Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
  • Coordinates part number attributes.
  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.
  • Releases and maintains orders.
  • Documents and resolve order delinquencies.
  • Reports schedule adherence issues.
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
  • Creates schedules for products and services.
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements.
