About The Position

Liquid Media is seeking an Associate Strategy Director to lead the development of creator marketing programs and brand ambassador initiatives for clients in the gaming and entertainment sectors. This senior, hands-on role focuses on creating scalable creator programs that foster long-term audience and brand engagement. The position involves developing creator strategies, program structures, and partnership approaches to enable authentic and culturally relevant engagement with creator communities. The Associate Strategy Director will collaborate with strategy, creative, production, account, and client teams to shape creator initiatives that enhance audience engagement and achieve lasting brand impact. A strong background in building creator or influencer programs from inception and a deep understanding of the gaming, entertainment, and creator ecosystems are essential.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in creator marketing, influencer strategy, talent partnerships, or related fields.
  • Experience developing creator marketing programs or brand ambassador initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Strong knowledge of gaming, esports, entertainment, and digital creator ecosystems.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and client stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear strategic direction.
  • Experience using performance insights and campaign data to refine recommendations and program strategy.
  • Familiarity with creator platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, and X/Twitter.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 10–15% for client meetings, cross-functional planning sessions, and agency initiatives as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with gaming UGC ecosystems such as Roblox or Fortnite Creative / UEFN.
  • Experience with creator-led launches, live-service campaigns, or community-focused activations.
  • Existing relationships within creator management or talent agency networks.
  • Experience working with creator communities or community engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with creator marketing platforms such as CreatorIQ or LevelUp.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creator marketing and brand ambassador strategies for gaming and entertainment clients.
  • Shape scalable program structures, creator tiers, onboarding approaches, incentive models, and content frameworks.
  • Build program playbooks and strategic frameworks that strengthen long-term creator engagement and brand alignment.
  • Refine programs over time using performance insights, audience behavior, platform trends, and cultural moments.
  • Help shape creator onboarding experiences and long-term creator engagement approaches.
  • Identify creators, communities, and platforms aligned with client goals, audiences, and brand positioning.
  • Develop creator evaluation approaches that consider audience alignment, content quality, cultural relevance, and brand fit.
  • Build relationships across creator and talent management ecosystems.
  • Contribute to partnership and ambassador program recommendations that strengthen long-term program growth.
  • Guide creator campaign strategy across TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, X/Twitter, and emerging creator platforms.
  • Develop creator briefing approaches that balance strategic direction with creator authenticity.
  • Identify relevant gaming, entertainment, and cultural moments that strengthen creator activations and audience engagement.
  • Develop short-form content approaches designed for discovery, engagement, and community growth.
  • Define measurement approaches for creator programs and campaign performance.
  • Use reporting and performance insights to inform recommendations and program evolution.
  • Stay informed on creator marketing trends, emerging platforms, creator behaviors, and community engagement approaches.
  • Contribute industry insights and strategic perspectives that strengthen agency positioning and client strategy.
