About The Position

The Fraud team is looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to reduce the cost of fraud and build solutions to protect our platform from would-be fraudsters. You’ll specifically be focused on creating our strategy and executing against ambitious goals around reducing Dasher fraud for New Business Verticals, sitting at the intersection between understanding dasher behavior that suggests fraud and the appropriate enforcements and working with our growth teams on scaling new verticals safely. You'll investigate cases of fraud and brainstorm solutions to reduce fraud in the long-term. Most importantly, you'll help promote the delicate balance between providing our users the best experience possible while keeping bad actors at bay. You are a data-driven truth seeker and strategic operator. You combine business context and analytics to identify problem areas and implement tailored solutions, while aligning others, empowering teams, and driving collaboration across the company. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics or related experience; high-growth experience preferred
  • Interest operating in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment
  • Experience contributing to large projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills; proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets/sheets) are required
  • Ability to thoughtfully consider multiple perspectives and effectively communicate them to drive understanding and alignment
