Because, the truth is, nobody ever became great without first being brave. We are seeking an Associate Strategist who is focused on great work. As an Associate Strategist, you'll support the team in uncovering consumer insights, conducting research, and helping develop creative briefs that inspire impactful work. You'll work alongside experienced strategists, creatives, account teams, and partner agencies while learning how strategy shapes campaigns from idea to execution. Internal D&G teams (creative, account, and others) to offer strategic insights and direction, and can substantially contribute to the development of creative briefs. Partner agencies to make sure the work is integrated at all touch points. Clients to present strategy as well as one-off strategic POVs as needed for client education. We are a creative shop. Strategists who thrive here understand that they have to solve problems and define the creative product of the agency.

Requirements

  • Internship experience or up to 1 year of experience in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Desire to be a strong support for projects big and small.
  • Excited about getting deep into research & data.
  • Able to multi-task, while still maintaining a high level of detail and follow through.
  • Knowledge of digital outlets and social channels.
  • Experience tailoring briefs and strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to get involved with internal teams and provide insights.
  • Passion for advertising and marketing, with an insatiable appetite to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute as an integral part of all the client work from the beginning stages through execution to identify opportunities and provide strategic direction (both internally and with clients).
  • Perform the necessary research to come to these insights.
  • Create strategic direction in the form of briefs, decks, and presentations.
  • Offer strategic insights and direction to internal D&G teams (creative, account, and others).
  • Substantially contribute to the development of creative briefs.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure integrated work at all touch points.
  • Present strategy and one-off strategic POVs to clients for education.
  • Solve problems and define the creative product of the agency.
