In partnership with the General Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the store meets or exceeds sales and contest goals, while also meeting payroll goals based on current trends. The Associate Store Manager will prioritize, plan, and adjust schedules and daily agendas to meet business goals and hold the team accountable to achieving them. This role involves partnering with the General Manager to recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a talent pipeline. The Associate Store Manager will train and motivate all associates through on-going programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge, and will assess performance, provide on-going feedback, and complete performance appraisals and development plans. A key focus is ensuring the team provides an exceptional customer experience to achieve World Class Service standards, maintaining presence through effective floor management, and ensuring staff coverage. The role also includes maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring store standards are met (visuals, cleanliness, signage, safety), and managing store-operating procedures like inventory levels and cash control to minimize store losses. The Associate Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the store meets company guidelines in opening and closing, monitoring company assets through accurate inventory procedures, and ensuring associates comply with all Company policies and procedures. A crucial aspect is creating and maintaining an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with the People First Philosophy.
