About The Position

The Sterile Processing Technician Resident will successfully be admitted to and complete a formal Sterile Processing program. The SPD Tech Resident will be expected to complete and comply with all academic standards of the training program, pass the IAHCSSM certification exam [Provisional Certification or Full Certification] and demonstrate clinical skill competence in all areas of the Sterile Processing Department. Requirements

  • Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, Or Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Responsibilities

  • Successfully be admitted to and complete a formal Sterile Processing program.
