About The Position

Watkins Wellness is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join its Production team. This hands-on production role assembles steam generators, boilers, and related components for the steam product line. Work includes electrical component assembly, wiring, mechanical assembly, testing, and other manufacturing operations, using blueprints, production instructions, and assembly documentation to build products accurately and efficiently.

The associate may cross-train in sauna production during slower periods and support other manufacturing areas as business needs shift. Success requires attention to detail, independent work, and a commitment to product quality. The role also involves collaborating with coworkers, maintaining an organized and safe work environment, and contributing ideas to improve efficiency and quality.

The work environment is usually quiet. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 75–100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, schematics, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Experience working with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes and products.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move 75–100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, woodworking, or related hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience assembling electrical components in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic woodworking or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steam generators, boilers, and related subassemblies according to blueprints, production instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
• Perform electrical component assembly, wiring, and mechanical assembly tasks.
• Perform electrical and functional testing of completed units and work with team members to verify product performance and quality.
• Cross-train in sauna production and support other manufacturing areas as business needs shift.
• Review work with coworkers, maintain an organized and safe work environment, and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and product quality.
