About The Position

As an Associate Specialist, Asset Servicing Controls, you will join the Asset Servicing Control team and help strengthen the control environment across operational processes, procedures, and client servicing deliverables. This role offers broad exposure to Asset Servicing and control teams across the organization, with opportunities to partner with control managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on key priorities, including: Control oversight and risk mitigation Process and control reviews Policy review, governance, metrics, and reporting Risk reviews, incident analysis, escalation, and RCSA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in banking or another regulated environment, ideally in risk, controls, audit, compliance, or governance.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Power BI, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk reviews across operational processes and client servicing deliverables.
  • Review and test processes and controls, and recommend actions to address gaps.
  • Support control initiatives that enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Support governance, metrics, and reporting for Asset Servicing controls.
  • Review policies and standards to support risk mitigation and regulatory alignment.
  • Escalate risk and control matters to key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate incidents and losses to identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
  • Support RCSA activities by assessing and challenging risks and controls.
  • Support operational and corporate risk initiatives, as needed.
  • Lead issue remediation activities in partnership with business units.
  • Lead operational loss event activities in partnership with business units.
