About The Position
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Software Engineer / Software Engineer to join their Software and Controls Engineering team in Huntsville, AL. Requirements
- Basic Qualifications for an Associate Software Engineer: Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
- The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Nice To Haves

- Experience with languages such as Python, MATLAB, C++, ADA, or JAVA.
- Experience working with Object Oriented Design, SOLID design principles, or software design patterns.
Responsibilities
- Support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor.
- Provide technical contributions and guidance to software products.
- Support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
