About The Position

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Software Engineer to support the Guidance Repair Center in Heath, OH. This engineering position will be responsible for the design, development, test, and sustainment of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical products and test equipment/software in support of the U.S. Strategic Deterrence Systems (U.S. Air Force Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, U.S. Air Force & U.S. Navy Guidance Systems and other military programs). In addition, this role will review test data, direct repairs, develop process improvements, capture process changes, and solve problems with new workloads and part obsolescence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 1+ years of programming experience
  • 1+ years’ experience programming in C, C++ or Ada
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
  • A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience
  • Experience incorporating modifications to legacy test equipment systems that have limited documentation
  • Experience programming in C#
  • Experience with Networking and Database
  • Experience programming in Labview
  • Experience with Microsoft Programming
  • Experience with Data Analytics

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to development and deployment of automated test equipment for lab and factory automation, including data processing and control algorithm development
  • Works in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills
  • Use your talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs
  • Responsible for developing technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings supporting program requirements
