About The Position

Saab, Inc. is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to product development and project execution in a collaborative team environment. The stated compensation range is $72,000–$90,000; actual offers may depend on factors such as responsibilities, location, business and market considerations, experience, skills, and education or training.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Selected applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen. The role may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• C/C++ programming experience.
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design skills, preferably using UML.
• Experience working with Unix-based systems, including Linux.
• Ability to systematically evaluate data.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information if selected and subject to a government security investigation.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Relational database experience, including SQL.
• Familiarity with software version control systems such as Subversion.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
