About The Position
This role involves providing software development support for Linux and/or Windows applications, primarily focusing on military mission systems or image processing desktop applications. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, technically competent, possess pride in ownership, and have a strong work ethic. A desire to learn, good interpersonal skills, and strong decision-making/critical thinking abilities are essential. The role requires adaptability to change and adherence to the highest ethical standards.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Software development/maintenance experience.
- C, C++, VC++ and/or Java experience
- Window OS experience.
- Familiarity with software patterns and/or modern design methodology
- Object-Oriented Design and Analysis
- GUI design and development experience
- Familiarity with software lifecycle process.
- Hardware communications interfacing experience
- Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) experience
- GPU development experience is a plus. I.e. CUDA
