About The Position

This role involves applying computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles to develop software for target applications. The Associate Software Engineer will work closely with cross-functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system. The position supports and participates in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment. Responsibilities include developing software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation, as well as utilizing modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results. The role also involves participating in peer reviews, and identifying, tracking, and repairing defects. The engineer will utilize a variety of software languages on various platforms and operating systems.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, Digital Arts & Sciences or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Responsibilities
