About The Position

OptiTrack is hiring an Associate SMT Technician to join its manufacturing team in Corvallis, Oregon. This hands-on role supports production of electronic products by organizing components, assisting with surface mount technology (SMT) machine setups, and performing basic soldering tasks. The role is suitable for candidates with manufacturing experience or those seeking to develop technical skills.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 10 lbs daily and 50 lbs weekly.
• Ability to bend, stand, walk, and/or sit for the majority of an 8-hour shift.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hand soldering experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately machine count electronic components and store them in an organized fashion.
• Assist surface mount machine operators with accurately pulling and setting up electronic components on machine feeders for product runs.
• Hand solder electronic components to circuit boards as needed.
