Associate Site Operations Production Control Coordinator
About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Site Operations Production Control Coordinator to join the team in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves processing and moving production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. The coordinator will monitor work in process, communicate the status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods, and identify and solve problems or discrepancies of limited scope. They will also coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite, and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. This position works under general supervision.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience working with or within one of the following: MRO operations (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), materials management, supply chain, and/or production control, in aviation environment
- 2+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong drive for process improvement
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
- Ability to work variable shifts (1st and/or 2nd shift)
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Nice To Haves
- Supporting manufacturing for non-production materials, tool, and shop supplies
- Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift license
- Experience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
- Experience working with commercial derivative aircraft platform
- Understanding of Lean, continuous/process improvement methodology
- Experience in Earned Value Management
