About The Position

The production control coordinator is responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule. This position is also responsible for expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic OSHA requirements
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Associate degree in a related field required
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Responsible for promoting culture of safety
  • Plan and manage production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
  • Complete shipping information and delivery date input.
  • Order tools or raw material for production.
  • Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures
