About The Position

The Associate will join the Shareholder Services (“SS”) Team within the Firm's growing IC Department which serves as a key point of contact to the Firm’s investor base. This role requires a motivated and proactive individual with strong attention to detail to manage tight reporting deadlines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facilitating the processing of new investor subscriptions, redemptions and transfers of interest by the Firm’s third-party transfer agent. This responsibility includes the coordination of communication between internal teams and high net worth individuals / wealth managers / wirehouse operations groups Relationship manager for assigned Wirehouse, RIA and Broker-Dealer operational contacts ensuring effective partnership and issue resolution Providing timely responses to client inquiries and interacting with external third parties to support investor needs Maintaining daily communications with internal teams to support ongoing operations and manage day-to-day and ad-hoc activity Liaising with internal departments including BDC Fund Accounting, Tax, Legal, and the Investor Partners Group Leading or supporting strategic initiatives, including onboarding new wirehouse clients, delivering custom reporting solutions and implementing onboarding platform integrations Partnering closely with the Technology Solutions Team to drive system enhancements and process improvements Engaging closely with third-party onboarding vendors and transfer agents to navigate, streamline and optimize operational workflows Ad-hoc IC initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of related experience, ideally at a wealth manager, custodian or asset manager with focus on alternative investments and retail products
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables, learn quickly and independently and improve processes
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Office products, specifically Word and Excel
  • Technical skills and financial background a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
  • Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture
