About The Position

Mother Lode Holding Company is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Field Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. Requirements

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Approximately 1 year of experience in a technical support, help desk, or desktop support environment (internships or relevant technical experience may be considered).
Must be 21 years of age or older to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Strong customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Effective troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support through phone, chat, and the internal ticketing system.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application issues for end users.
Escalate complex technical issues to specialized IT teams when appropriate.
Travel to company branch offices approximately 2–3 days per week to provide onsite technical support.
Install, relocate, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, VoIP phones, and other peripheral devices.
Configure and prepare endpoint devices for deployment.
Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems and common business applications.
Document solutions and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
Assist with support for proprietary and cloud-based business applications.
Maintain a high level of professionalism while delivering outstanding customer service.
Perform other technology-related duties as assigned.
