About The Position
As a Associate Software Developer in Test you will design, develop, and maintain the automation suites for various products offered by HealthStream in accordance with technology best practice. Work with QA team leaders and developers to understand and refine requirements. Test manually and via automation any functionality produced by the Development Team. Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), or closely related field of study is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Knowledge of software technologies (Frontend, middle tier or backend) tying those to product requirement.
- Possess a solid grasp on the functionality of all products within the team.
- Exhibit appropriate attention to time management, professional conduct and adherence to corporate policies.
Responsibilities
- Adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- Helping drive best practices including CI/CD and automation and associated development.
- Helping drive testing strategies and automation concepts.
- Identifying test cases and creating automation for those tests.
- Interpreting metrics and alerts from various monitoring platforms to help direct appropriate action.
- Interpreting logs and correlating those to application behaviors.
- Working with Lane leads and Product Owners to advocate for customer experience and behavior.
- Leveraging AI tooling on a regular basis to enhance quality and personal throughput.
- Working with other team members to ensure test plans properly cover the applications being tested.
