About The Position

In this role you will be responsible for testing neat materials and reference standard products primarily by QNMR, (U)HPLC and/or GC. Additional testing such as LC/MS, GC/MS, KF, ROI, IC, EA, IR, TOC, Titration and/or ICP assigned as needed and in alignment with experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Use experience and education to solve problems, optimize processes, and develop new processes and methods. Maintain and qualify analytical instrumentation. Review data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with quality requirements. Develop and validate methods. Respond efficiently to evolving priorities.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline.
Experience performing quality control and/or analytical chemistry in a regulated environment (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO).
Experience in an analytical lab analyzing neat materials for chemical purity and assay for concentration.
Proficiency in technical fundamentals, organizational skills, documentation, and effective communication.
Experience in separations science, in an analytical and/or bioanalytical lab by UHPLC and/or UHLC/MS.
Experience with interpreting NMR spectra for identification and QNMR for assay.
Experience with instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
