The Protein Homeostasis Thematic Research Center (TRC) at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) is a fundamental Oncology research engine focused on delivering oncology and hematology therapeutics. The TRC specializes in exploiting BMS' expertise in protein degradation to discover and develop therapies targeting tumor-intrinsic vulnerabilities and resistance mechanisms to existing cancer therapeutics, aiming to address previously undruggable protein classes. Within the TRC, the Translational Pathology group supports the company’s Oncology drug discovery and translational pathology efforts across multiple research units and sites. This group provides pathobiology scientific expertise, diagnostic consultation, and histopathology technical support under the leadership of an MD pathologist. Their primary responsibilities include collaborating with research scientists to support tissue-based target validation, animal model studies, and biomarker research from Discovery through Proof-of-Concept studies.
