About The Position

At Edgewise, we are focused on advancing novel, muscle-targeted therapeutics for serious cardiovascular and cardiometabolic conditions with significant unmet need. Leveraging our expertise in muscle biology and small molecule drug development, we are building a cardiovascular pipeline that includes programs for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, heart failure and other serious cardiovascular diseases. We’re building a passionate, experienced team committed to tackling complex scientific and clinical challenges and delivering meaningful outcomes for patients. If you’re looking to do work that matters, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking an Associate Scientist/Scientist Cardiovascular Pharmacology with experience characterizing animal models of cardiovascular disease and response to intervention. The successful candidate will be able to apply their knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and pharmacology to characterize small molecules and support drug discovery programs. This is a lab-based position (~70%) primarily performing hands-on in vivo studies in rodents, with remaining time spent analyzing data, presenting results to project teams, and serving as a representative on cross-functional teams. This role is based in Boulder, CO.
