About The Position

This role will report to a Scientist in the in vitro discovery and optimization team, with autonomy owning various stakeholders, projects, and tasks in a dynamic start-up environment while keeping up the pace of Alloy. Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
  • Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g., cloning, PCR, sequencing).
  • Hands-on experience with yeast/phage/mammalian display platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage timelines and contribute to multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively in collaborative settings.
  • Ability to work across various US and international time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to support antibody discovery and engineering.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of in vitro platforms and workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project goals and timelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high scientific standards.
  • Document and communicate experimental findings clearly to stakeholders and teams.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Provide technical expertise in molecular biology and related techniques.
  • Support high-throughput screening and assay development efforts.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and scientific advances in the field.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient laboratory environment.
