Associate Scientist I, Small Scale Synthesis

Arrowhead PharmaceuticalsMadison, WI
$60,000 - $68,000

About The Position

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a commercial stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. They utilize a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery to trigger the RNA interference mechanism for rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. Arrowhead's RNAi-based therapeutics leverage this natural pathway of gene silencing. The company is focused on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of one or more proteins involved in disease. Their technologies enable them to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and pursue disease targets not addressable by small molecules and biologics. Arrowhead is a leader in bringing RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, with a clinical pipeline including targets in the liver and lung, and a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates. Arrowhead's corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA, with research and development teams in Madison, WI & San Diego, CA, and a manufacturing facility in Verona, WI. The company values nimble, science-driven innovators who collaborate to bring new therapies to patients.
