About The Position

The Associate Sales Representative is responsible for selling pre-owned equipment offerings to customers across the United States. This role employs strategic selling techniques to suggest and provide material handling solutions to customers. Our compensation package is designed to attract and retain top sales talent, offering a competitive commission structure on top of a generous base salary. Top performers earn well above industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Ability to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, concise and professional manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of outside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with proactively seeking out new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential customers to maximize sales potential.
  • Assist with developing and implementing effective strategies to meet and exceed sales targets on a regular basis.
  • Foster positive relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Demonstrate resilience and persistence in overcoming sales obstacles and objections to achieve sales quotas.
  • Utilize effective negotiation skills to close sales deals and secure profitable business partnerships.
  • Regularly analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate shipping orders and develop relationships with freight brokerage providers to ensure proper equipment delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales management to develop sales forecasts and plans to achieve sales quotas. Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and achievements towards sales quotas to sales management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Actively participate in sales training activities and workshops to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
  • Attends weekly and/or monthly team meetings to review department goals and strategies.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to benefit the team, clients, and company.
