About The Position

This role is designed as a developmental position with a defined path to Territory Sales Manager based on performance and leadership readiness. The Associate Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting and identifying new referral sources, building and managing a target account list, conducting introductory sales calls, and supporting advancement through the sales cycle. The role also involves developing and maintaining new referral relationships and supporting territory revenue growth initiatives. Additionally, the position requires delivering orthopedic bracing and DME products, educating patients and medical staff on proper equipment use, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and troubleshooting product or delivery concerns. Operational duties include maintaining accurate billing and compliance documentation, obtaining required signatures, and assisting with inventory management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service, healthcare, or sales experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in hospital and clinical environments.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow into medical sales.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Medical device, DME, or healthcare sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new referral sources within hospitals, urgent cares, orthopedic groups, and physician offices.
  • Build and manage a target account list.
  • Conduct introductory sales calls and support advancement through the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain new referral relationships.
  • Support territory revenue growth initiatives.
  • Deliver orthopedic bracing and DME products to hospitals, clinics, and patient homes.
  • Educate patients and medical staff on proper equipment use.
  • Build strong relationships with nursing staff, surgical teams, and materials management.
  • Troubleshoot product or delivery concerns.
  • Maintain accurate billing and compliance documentation.
  • Obtain required patient and provider signatures.
  • Assist with inventory management and product tracking.
