About The Position

This role is within Stryker's Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) division. The Associate Sales Representative will work closely with experienced Sales Representatives and Managers to build knowledge, skill, and comfort with clinical and product knowledge, as well as selling styles and techniques. They will serve as coaches and mentors, sharing lessons learned for building and growing a successful business. The role involves receiving training and independent study to perform at high levels in the operating room, working amongst surgeons and healthcare professionals. The Associate Sales Representative will represent Stryker as a leader in the industry and marketplace, identifying and promoting solutions and selling products that change patients' lives. They will collaborate with the team to build their own business, identify and prospect new customers, and care for existing customers. The role includes assisting Sales Representatives in determining necessary resources for customers to achieve sales objectives and executing the plan, which may involve educational programs, product development initiatives, and sales strategies. The Associate Sales Representative will foster a culture and environment that makes CMF a destination for top performers and a place where careers thrive.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Comfortability with adapting to new technology and business advancements.
  • Must be comfortable in emergency and operating room environments.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services (marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, sales control systems).
  • Capacity to deal with competing priorities and potential to be adaptable as days change quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships in the sales capacity.
  • Prepared to spend up to 90% of time in the field with customers and sales professionals (including some weekends, and some overnight travel).
  • Highly organized and demonstrate ability to organize a busy schedule.
  • Would need personal car to transport product inventory and travel to support customers.
  • Learns from set-backs and develops tactics and strategies to minimize recurrence.
