About The Position

Smith+Nephew is seeking a passionate and driven Associate Sales Representative to join their Orthopaedics team. This role involves working within an assigned territory and hospital accounts, assisting with case scheduling, securing inventory, consulting surgical teams on instrumentation and implants, and managing logistical requirements. The position demands the ability to quickly learn technical surgical information and procedures. The foundation of success relies on becoming a technical expert in the Orthopaedics portfolio through training and assessments, building rapport with sales representatives and leadership, and fostering positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital staff, and coworkers to enhance customer access and provide data-driven solutions. Collaboration with teammates is key to developing an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed quotas. The role requires team-oriented professionals who are highly attentive to detail and flexible to work untraditional hours to support the salesforce and customers. Self-motivated individuals committed to driving business forward by taking strategic responsibility for their area and working with customers to deliver the best solutions for patients are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • A valid driver’s license applicable to current residence to facilitate of travel requirements of position
  • All field sales professionals who are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of those facilities they support, which can include adherence to any established vaccine protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the scheduling of operative cases
  • Securing inventory for cases
  • Observing and consulting the surgical team on Smith Nephew instrumentation and implants
  • Completing the logistical requirements associated with cases
  • Becoming a technical expert in the Orthopaedics portfolio
  • Building rapport with the Sales Reps and leadership in the territory and region
  • Building positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital staff, and coworkers
  • Developing an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed quota
