About The Position

This field-based role involves working closely with experienced Sales Representatives and Managers to build knowledge, skill, and comfort with clinical and product knowledge, as well as selling styles and techniques. Coaches and mentors will share lessons learned for building and growing a successful business. The role includes training and independent study to perform at high levels in the operating room, working amongst surgeons and healthcare professionals. The Associate Sales Representative will represent Stryker as a leader in the industry and marketplace, identifying and promoting solutions and selling products that change patient lives. Responsibilities include collaborating with the team to build a business one customer and account at a time, identifying and prospecting new customers, and taking care of existing customers. The role also involves assisting Sales Representatives in determining necessary resources for customers to achieve sales objectives and executing the plan, which may include educational programs, product development initiatives, and sales strategies. Fostering a culture and environment where CMF is a destination for top performers and a place where careers thrive is also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Comfortability with adapting to new technology and business advancements.
  • Must be comfortable in emergency and operating room environments.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services (marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, sales control systems).
  • Capacity to deal with competing priorities and potential to be adaptable as days change quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships in the sales capacity.
  • Highly organized and demonstrate ability to organize a busy schedule.
  • Would need personal car to transport product inventory and travel to support customers.
  • Learns from set-backs and develops tactics and strategies to minimize recurrence.
