About The Position

Workday is seeking individuals with a passion for strategic prospecting, a curiosity for creative thinking, and the motivation to help advance Workday's mission. As an Associate Sales Development Representative, you will join the team in deploying various prospecting approaches across target accounts, partnering with Account Executives to build quality opportunities for the Workday Sales Team. Your key role is to connect with potential customers and share value messaging while discovering the needs of the prospect and their organization. Together, you will generate a quality pipeline through a combination of email, phone calls, marketing qualified leads, social selling, and face-to-face events. You will identify qualified potential buyers and develop the relationship between the account and the broader Workday team. This role is part of the Generation Workday (GW) Program, a 12-month program for individuals who have completed their undergraduate or graduate degree within the past 12 months, providing professional development opportunities focused on making connections and accelerating professional growth.

Requirements

  • Have earned or will be earning a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university between August 2025 - June 2026 to qualify for our early career program
  • Have less than one (1) year of professional or industry-specific experience
  • Are available to start a full-time position in July 2026 and report in-person to your assigned office
  • Shown experience or internships in prospecting, inside sales, business development, high technology exposure, marketing, direct sales, or IT consulting

Nice To Haves

  • Participation in academic or organizational sales competitions or programs preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deploying multi-channel prospecting strategies across target accounts, including phone, email, social selling, and in-person events
  • Partnering with Account Executives to build and advance quality opportunities for Workday field sales
  • Contacting potential customers and sharing value messaging while uncovering prospects' needs and organizational challenges
  • Identifying and qualifying potential buyers to help generate a healthy and growing pipeline
  • Nurturing and developing relationships between prospective accounts and the Workday team
  • Responding to and qualifying marketing qualified leads in a timely and effective manner
  • Staying organized while managing multiple prospecting activities and accounts simultaneously
