This is an engineering support role for the Houston Domestic and International A&D team within the Global Investment Banking – Energy Division. The role focuses on the execution of upstream and midstream oil and gas pitches, live mandates, and ad-hoc technical requests. The Associate will develop and integrate technical inputs into valuation and economic models to support investment decisions across North American and International basins. This includes analyzing key engineering and geological drivers, building and sensitizing technical inputs for economic models, and managing technical and economic databases. The role also involves supporting ad hoc analysis by pulling third-party data, developing new tools for database efficiency, troubleshooting engineering database management software, and contributing to the engineering portions of management presentations and pitch materials. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a working knowledge of industry technical trends, commodity prices, and technological developments. The Associate will also understand the Bank's risk appetite and culture, champion a high-performance and inclusive work environment, and foster a customer-focused culture. The position requires a 5-day in-office presence with expectations for domestic travel (<10% of time allocation).
