About The Position
The Associate Researcher is an entry-level laboratory research position responsible for conducting routine and standardized experiments using techniques specific to the assigned research project, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or a senior researcher. The role assists in interpreting research outcomes and may provide laboratory and clerical support. The Associate Researcher also develops pipelines for computational analysis, analyzes experiments, manages laboratory data and systems, maintains the laboratory environment and inventory, and supports the preparation of research findings for publication and presentation.
Requirements
- Zero to two years of research or laboratory experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field, or a combination of relevant research experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Develop pipelines for computational analysis.
- Qualitatively and quantitatively analyze experiments.
- Manage laboratory data, storage, and networks.
- Maintain the laboratory environment and assist with inventory upkeep, which may include ordering supplies.
- Log and test samples; prepare and submit laboratory materials and specimens for shipment.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reviewing experimental data for publication and presentation.
- Perform other related duties.
