Associate Researcher – Fem Care
About The Position
Research and Development (R&D) at Procter & Gamble (P&G), the largest consumer packaged goods company in the world, includes a diverse group of roles that contribute to the innovation and development of our products. It encompasses roles in product research, formulation, testing, and scientific analysis. The opportunity is for an Associate on the Feminine Care business. As an Associate Researcher, you will spend the majority of your time conducting laboratory experimentation to develop and evaluate innovative Fem Care products. From creating prototype formulations that advance odor management and skin wellness to testing fluid handling and mechanical performance of novel product concepts, you will play a critical role in bringing innovation to life. Working closely with formulators, product designers, engineers, and multifunctional partners, you will generate insights that guide technical decisions and help shape the next generation of Fem Care products.
Requirements
- Associate degree in science or related field or a High School diploma with relevant experience and interests.
- Hands-on lab experience.
- Able to adapt to changing business needs and eager to learn and grow professionally.
- Available to work 7am-5pm at Winton Hill Business Center 5 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on laboratory experimentation to support the development of innovative Fem Care products and technologies.
- Formulate and prepare prototype batches to evaluate new materials, formulations, and product concepts.
- Design, execute, and analyze technical testing, including fluid handling, absorbency, fluid acquisition, retention, and mechanical performance evaluations.
- Independently perform a wide variety of laboratory methods and experimental protocols with increasing technical complexity.
- Partner with product designers and formulators to translate consumer and technical needs into testable product solutions.
- Capture, analyze, and communicate experimental results, observations, and insights to project teams.
- Investigate unexpected results, identify root causes, and recommend next steps to accelerate learning and progress.
- Maintain accurate experimental records and contribute to technical reports and presentations.
- Support laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, safety compliance, and quality practices.
- Enable Fem Care lab move from Winton Hill to Mason in partnership with Senior Scientist.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing methods, laboratory processes, and overall efficiency.
