About The Position

We are seeking a curious, technically astute candidate who is looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced platform team that drives critical innovation plans for over $3 Billion in global business. This team aims to generate superior innovation by applying deep consumer and technical insights to create delightful hair and scalp products. This is an entry level role for individuals who are inspired by hands-on experimentation and science. This individual will play a crucial role on the product research team to develop consumer fundamentals, conduct lab screening & technical testing, leveraging established test procedures to produce reliable, reproducible results that meet day-to-day project needs as directed by their manager/technical coach. This will include experimentation and testing that can happen in a lab, in a salon, at a clinical site, with consumers, and/or on a computer.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Science or Cosmetology field or related field or a High School diploma with relevant experience and interests.
- Licensed Cosmetologists are encouraged to apply.
- 2-year and 4-year degrees are also welcome.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint, is required.
- Available to work at our office in Mason Business Office in Cincinnati, OH 5 days per week.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Hair Care is preferred but not required.
- Possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude, along with strong technical curiosity and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience as a Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist or Cosmetic scientist
- The ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and make critical observations is essential.
- Excellent computer skills and systems experience.
- Familiarity with placing consumer usage studies.
- Prior experience in a research role and lab work.
Responsibilities
