The Associate IT Research Professional provides support to a growing business and emerging IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing IT support in the following areas: Respond to IT helpdesk tickets: Support local and remote users, Install software on Windows. Assist with employee IT infrastructure: Configure employee workstation/laptop configuration, Configure employee accounts / active directory. Assist with hardware and software procurement and inventory management. Perform basic system and user administration tasks for Windows Server. Troubleshoot, assemble, repair and configure Intel based workstations, servers and peripheral equipment. The RITO Helpdesk supports all UDRI employees located at various locations in the Dayton Area. In support of our employees at these locations, RITO Helpdesk receives frequent helpdesk request tickets for tasks that must be completed in person, including troubleshooting hardware or network issues, deploying equipment for new employees or replacement equipment (computers, monitors, printers, etc), and other troubleshooting or tasks that may not be accomplished via remote tools. RITO is assigned a UD vehicle, which is often used by Helpdesk staff for transporting large equipment items. For these reasons, driving is an essential function for the role of Associate Research IT Professional in RITO and all Helpdesk staff must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
