About The Position

Delta Medical Systems is seeking an Associate Representative for their medical sales team in Minneapolis. This role is designed for individuals early in their sales and medical industry careers, offering hands-on experience in sales processes, customer engagement, and product knowledge. The Associate Representative will manage their own territory, guided by a senior mentor. The position involves selling Siemens' medical imaging products, including surgical C-arms, ultrasound, radiography, mammography, CT, MR, and nuclear medicine. This is an entry-level sales opportunity for competitive individuals who thrive in a team-selling environment and are motivated to succeed. The role includes a base salary plus commission. The work model is hybrid, with 10% in a home office and 90% travel to customer sites in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding communities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years prior sales experience required.
  • Strong interest in outside sales and healthcare technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in a sales career.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Support Delta Medical Systems' quality policy through compliance with quality management system documentation.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to drive long-term engagement and loyalty.
  • Under the guidance of a senior mentor, manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Shadow senior team members during client meetings and presentations.
  • Develop product knowledge through training sessions, mentorship, and internal resources.
  • With assistance from a mentor, monitor and manage individual deal-related costs to ensure alignment with profitability targets.
  • Learn to proactively assess customer needs and position relevant solutions across the full product portfolio.
  • Maintain post-sale communication to support customer satisfaction, retention, and future business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and progress in CRM systems.
  • Comply with and adhere to all customer site requirements, which may include certain vaccinations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
