About The Position

This role involves daily trading and strategy input for the North America Repo book, managing repo across multiple funds including Hedge Funds, Separate accounts, and selective U.S. mutual funds. The position requires trading global credit, sovereign, and emerging market fixed income securities across multiple currencies, and handling daily risk exposures with a strong attention to detail. The Associate will drive and expand counterparty relationships, play an active role within the investment process, and provide market color, daily locates, and assistance for repo to the investment side of the business. Daily analysis of book performance and market trends, with commentary to management and PM teams, is expected. The role also focuses on improving trading performance through quantitative and technological solutions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst or a related role.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst or a related role.
  • One (1) year of experience with Python.
  • One (1) year of experience with SQL.
  • One (1) year of experience with VBA.
  • One (1) year of experience with R.
  • One (1) year of experience with Business Objects including finance coverage across the platform, risk assessment and management, and business financing and management.
  • One (1) year of experience with Fixed Income Markets.
  • One (1) year of experience with Monetary Policy.
  • One (1) year of experience with Database Management to automate position analysis, recommending trading strategies, initiating trading and monitoring activities.
  • One (1) year of experience developing mathematical financial models, performing scenario analysis and stress testing.
  • One (1) year of experience with Microsoft Excel for ad-hoc analysis.
