About The Position

As an Associate Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch, you represent the Chase brand and culture by combining friendly, attentive service with banking solutions and financial technology. You welcome and assist branch clients, use your financial knowledge to identify thoughtful solutions for their needs, and contribute to the success of the branch. The role focuses on creating memorable client experiences and building lasting relationships through attentive service, clear communication, and suitable product and service recommendations.

The position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An offer is contingent on JPMorgan Chase’s review of relevant background and financial information. The role also requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act, with continued employment contingent on compliance, registration after starting, and timely annual renewal and updates.

Requirements

• Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the client experience.
• Excellent in-person and telephone communication skills, including the ability to tailor product and service features and benefits to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate within established risk parameters and meet internal and external risk and compliance obligations, including completing required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements and SAFE Act requirements, including NMLS registration, renewal, and updates.
• An employment offer is contingent on review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant information. A felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify applicants.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of sales experience in Retail, Financial Services, or a related industry, with demonstrated success establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• College degree or military equivalent.
• Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and deliver attentive, friendly service that exceeds client expectations.
• Communicate clearly and politely in a consultative manner; ask questions and listen to understand and anticipate client needs.
• Assist walk-in and scheduled clients in person and over the phone, build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Educate clients about and connect them to technology solutions, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult with clients about banking solutions.
• Collaborate with and connect clients to team experts for specialized financial needs.
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
• Complete required risk and compliance training and meet applicable internal and external obligations.
