BBYO Greater Vancouver is seeking a full-time Associate Regional Director to lead the region through its next evolution and pursue its strategic goals. This individual will partner with a team of colleagues, volunteers, and teens across the region’s Jewish communal hubs, nurture a diverse network of stakeholders, and ensure that BBYO is providing a best-in-class experience for Jewish teens that’s meaningful, transformative, fun, and professional. This team member will continue to strengthen a strategic partnership with the JCC of Greater Vancouver by leading on a myriad of engagement strategies year-round – on the JCC campus, in local public and private schools, at popular venues throughout the area, and via specialty experiences like the JCC Maccabi Games. The role involves working with teens, being creative, adaptable, and not desk-bound. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, energetic, detail-oriented, organized, charismatic, with strong people skills, tested program experience, and the ability to relate to teens and utilize their abilities to achieve BBYO’s mission. The role requires strong customer service skills, logical thinking, creative and professional writing, and event planning. Candidates should be excited about building a brand, advocating for the Jewish community to embrace the voices and imaginations of its youth, and running a highly professional affiliate of BBYO’s global movement. This is a role where you will grow your community building, programming, event planning, communications, fundraising, and business operations skills in a variety of ways.
