About The Position

Alpine Intel, a leader in the property insurance intelligence industry, is seeking a full-time Associate Regional Consultant to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC. This role is responsible for providing quality service in consulting, restoration, and salvage for insurance losses involving technical equipment. The consultant will perform field investigations, conduct research, and summarize findings in client reports. They will also conduct quality assurance/quality control functions for various projects based on their expertise.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
1-3 years’ experience evaluating failures in a commercial or industrial setting required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-verbal and written.
5% travel, occasional overnight travel required. Travel may increase dependent on claim volume.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Must have an inquisitive nature approaching your work in a curious nature.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditions.
Customer service mentality.
Accountable for following through on commitments and completing such commitments with professionalism, quality, and integrity.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Conduct and manage investigations involving commercial and industrial systems, ensuring professionalism, quality, and integrity.
Utilize technical expertise for analysis and guide support colleagues, documenting all findings for client delivery.
Document findings internally and formally in a final deliverable report.
Manage project timelines, documentation, budget preparation and adherence, and overall time management.
Interface and build relationships with clients through verbal and written communication, ensuring timely updates and met expectations.
Manage vendors/subcontractors needed to complete the project.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors to secure necessary materials and services.
Conduct equipment troubleshooting and evaluation to determine repair/refurbish/replace decisions.
Establish the cause of equipment damage (e.g., water damage, lightning damage, power surge).
Claims may be related to all types of electronic equipment, including computer networks, medical technology, industrial machinery, telecommunications infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment.
May be asked to complete other work or projects for the company as determined by management.
Conduct desk reviews (QA/QC) of projects, reviewing claim documentation to ensure alignment with claim type and appropriateness of analysis.
Determine if recommendations are appropriate to return equipment to pre-loss condition.
Ensure project deliverables are accurate and in line with project scope.
