Associate Recruiter
About The Position
Elastic is growing fast and we're looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, and hardworking Associate Recruiter to join our global talent team. You will act as a Talent Advisor to our AMER Field Operations Team, where you will be responsible for sourcing, leading and driving the entire recruitment process for a variety of roles and levels. This role can be located anywhere in the USA, and while Elastic has offices in several cities, this is not an office-based role as our teams are fully distributed. However, if you are near an office and wish to use it, you are welcome to do so.
Requirements
- 2+ years of recruiting experience across positions and teams
- A passion for understanding at least the basics of what hiring teams are working on.
- Demonstrable experience recruiting for a fast-paced company (e.g., software company, start-up, or a company where talent isn't readily available)
- Experience in direct sourcing of hard to find skillsets
- High attention-to-detail and ability to prioritize multiple requisitions
- Sharp eye for business with the ability to listen, ask relevant questions, and think three steps ahead
- Ability to successfully articulate the Elastic value proposition and story to candidates
- Ability to establish relationships by phone, email, and social media channels
- Experience collaborating with and influencing hiring managers and executives throughout the recruiting cycle
- Solid understanding of ATS tools (Greenhouse a bonus!) and recruiting technologies
Responsibilities
- Identify the right people, get them engaged, and lead the full hiring process
- Build tight relationships with hiring teams and serve as an advisor and partner to build balanced pipelines of stellar candidates and fill current openings.
- Craft and improve a consistent and outstanding candidate experience
- Run and champion the hiring process to provide a consistent experience with the Elastic recruiting team
- Participate with the global recruiting team to develop, implement, and execute recruiting strategies
- Be a passionate Elastic brand ambassador before, during, and after recruitment, helping to build talent brand in addition to talent pipeline
