About The Position

Requirements

Experience working in a highly collaborative team environment.

Exposure to the survey process of the Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, or another regulatory accreditation organization.
Experience drafting written correspondence to professionals such as healthcare practitioners, administrators, and attorneys.
Strong attention to detail.
Understanding of medical terminology, healthcare specialties, and healthcare practice settings.
Registered Nurse degree.
Five years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Review credentialing information for healthcare providers who have affirmative responses on their applications.
Conduct clinical event reviews involving healthcare providers and client healthcare facilities.
Research questions and problems regarding criminal background checks, drug screens, regulatory healthcare standards, and government regulations.
Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
